Hello
Please take these examples into your consideration and give an opinion.
Thank you in advance
-----------
The following examples I read in one book grammar:

It is an error to use the objective case in these situations:
WRONG: She is as old as him.
WRONG: She did not read so fast as them.
WRONG: She wrote faster than him.

My viewopinion :
Perhaps the author suggest using the personal pronoun ( subject)
(( I noticed all agree with using the pronoun object))

it seems to me ( than) = a preposition,so using an object pronoun after it = correct (( object of the preposition ))
1- She is not as \ so old as he is. I see changing to a negative looks finer ??
2- She did not read so fast as they did. (I see using them is not wrong)
3- She wrote faster than him. >> than he wrote

I think the author suggested using the subject pronoun as I changed above ?
