Bonjour à tous. Je dois rendre un texte en début de semaine et fais appel à une (ou plusieurs
) âme charitable pour le relir et corriger les fautes qu'il pourrait y avoir ou les passages qui sont à revoir... merci beaucoup beaucoup.
This document is an essay entittled « Short Cuts », published in the London Review and written by Andrew O’Hagan who takes clearly position against the moderntechnologies ans prensents the problem.
The author starts by evoking the past, when people ran away stress communication as possible as they could. Whereas nowadays being impossible to contact is regarded as acrime.
The professionals of telecommunication made researches to crush unavailability and created as a result new services like answering service, internet or the Blackberry.
Bing always reached means being in life. And now people are afraid of turning their mobile phone off at night and are too tired in the daytime to communicate directly with people without virtual way.
Considering this problem, the author suggests us a rehabilitation of the telecom system which is judged better for our life.
Like a lot of victims of the modern society Andrew O’Hagan became addicted to new technologies and expresses how powerless he feels in front of his mobile phone when the latter rings.
His last target is Facebook because, as he explaines it, his addiction finishes at the best of mobile phones, the Blackberry.
The author is victim of depresion as a lot of contempories and doesn’t see any future in this modernisation.
